This is an historical testament to our 2nd Amendment Rights!

You may not have heard about this group of lesser-known Tennessee Patriots whose efforts to defend Liberty at home in 1946 were dramatically noble and effective. This group of World War II veterans took up arms to restore Rule of Law in the quaint east Tennessee town of Athens (McMinn County), between Chattanooga and Knoxville. That fight became known as the Battle of Athens.

I recommend that every American Patriot subscribe to the World Net Daily >>   http://www.wnd.com/  It's honest and it's free!

This is a difficult time in America!  We Veterans and Patriots are struggling with the challenges confronting our Constitution and the continual debasement of the values and laws which made our Country the greatest nation in the history of Man! With God's help ... we will deal effectively with these tumultuous times and  prevail for future generations of Americans.

The group of Vets and Patriots who come together every Friday morning at the Beyond Grounds Coffee Locker all support the Constitution, it's Amendments, and the Bill of Rights. Our purpose in getting together is to share our stories and experiences in serving our Country.  Most of us are combat veterans and we are very proud of our service to America. The photos we share with you on this blog are simply meant to reflect our fun-loving nature and a serious desire to show a collective respect for the Flag we still choose to defend. Our spirit has nothing to do with politics ~ It has everything to do with Patriotism!
