Greetings Fellow Americans, Patriots, Veterans and Coffee Locker Shipmates!
On celebration of this Memorial Day 2013, I refer you to the following article from the Beaufort Observer reciting a post Civil War article written in 1868 by Army Commander-in-Chief, General John A. Logan. He was then representing the Headquarters Grand Army Of The Republic. The spirit and intent of his eloquent message remain to this day as Americans pay tribute to it's Veterans on Memorial Day!

On this and every day, please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces now standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.
Thoughts from the Founding Fathers ...
"In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." Thomas Jefferson
"Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions." James Madison
