I have never heard this said as simply or as well.Class war at its best. The folks who are getting the free stuff don't likethe folks who are paying for the free stuff, becausethe folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longerafford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.
And the folks who are paying for the free stuffwant the free stuff to stop.
And the folks who are getting the free stuff want even morefree stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!
Now... the people who are forcing the people who payfor the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVINGthe free stuff that the people who are PAYING for thefree stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.
So... the people who are GETTING the free stuff have beenconvinced they need to hate the people who are paying for thefree stuff by the people who are forcing some people to payfor their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.
We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that thereare now more people getting free stuff than paying for thefree stuff.
Now understand this!All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewherebetween 200 and 250 years after being founded.The reason?
The voters figured out they could vote themselves moneyfrom the treasury by electing people who promised to givethem money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.
The United States officially became a Republic in 1776,236 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuffoutnumbers the people paying for the free stuff.
Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

IT'S TIME THAT WE ALL TAKE A STAND!
As one of the more "liberal" members of this group, allow me to suggest a few thoughts about closed borders. I have lived and worked all over the world, but grew up here in New Mexico. I have worked in and around the construction industry all of my life.
ReplyDeleteI hear diatribes about illegal aliens taking the citizenry's jobs, hear of them getting welfare and food stamps without contributing to the system. Well, I offer the following alternative, which I would wager money is accurate:
For every welfare mooch you can find who is here illegally, I can find two illegals who work very hard at jobs that most of us won't do. They work for minimum wage, have taxes and Social Security taken from their fake SSN account so they will never ever see it, buy their cars, food, and tools locally, live frugally and simply, go to church on Sunday, and send money home to Mom and the kids in hopes of getting them here to live a better life. These are the people who roof and stucco your homes, who landscape your yards, who pour your concrete. They try to outwork everybody around them so the patron doesn't rat them out and hire new guys, just champing at the bit.
Now, let us examine carefully, who is the bad guy here? Is it the guy who is operating on the same principal as 90% of the citizens whose forefathers settled this country. Is the problem really this hard working immigrant who simply wants to make a better life for himself and his family? Or could the problem be the citizen who would hire these folks to save a couple of bucks an hour hiring fellow citizens. Is it the companies that make a profit from you and me and its illegal employees or is it that dreamer who just wants to work hard and better his lot in life?
Before we slam the doors shut, let's try to remember where we all come from, unless you happen to be a Native American. Let us, once again, be the nation that welcomes those who want to contribute to our great country. YES - make English the language if you wish to be paid in dollars, YES, test for drugs before you give a dime of assistance, YES to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, NO to profiling and illegal search and seizures, NO to Third Reich style "papers pliss" checkpoints, No to xenophobic, slam the door now that I am in attitudes.
